How to place GTT order ?

To place the GTT order, Follow these steps/video :

Step 1: Select the Stock
Go to the watchlist and select the stock for which you want to place a GTT order.

Step 2: Click on "Create GTT"
After selecting the stock, click on "CREATE GTT" to initiate the GTT order placement.

Step 3: Choose "Sell" or "Buy"

You can choose whether you want to place a buy or sell GTT order. In this example, we are placing a Sell GTT order.

Quantity: Enter the number of shares.

Trigger Price: Set the price at which you want the order to be activated.

Once all details are entered, click on "Review GTT Order".

Step 4: Confirm Order Placement

Review your order details and confirm the placement. The system will notify you once the order is successfully placed.

Question 1. Can I modify or cancel a GTT order?
Ans: Yes, you can modify or cancel a GTT order from the Order Book before it gets triggered.

Question 2. What happens if the stock never reaches my trigger price?
Ans: If the stock does not reach your set trigger price, the order remains pending until it is triggered or expires.

Question 3. How long is a GTT order valid?
Ans: A GTT order is typically valid for 365 days or until it is triggered or canceled manually.
