I already have shares in my old demat account. Can I transfer them to Swastika?

I already have shares in my old demat account. Can I transfer them to Swastika?

Yes, it is possible to transfer shares from another demat account to Swastika’s account. You have to sign a DIS, which is generally free of cost. The account holder has to be the same person.

You can also transfer shares from one Swastika account to another Swastika account, all over India. You will be required to sign DIS, Depository Participant ID and the Client ID.

If you want to transfer share from one account to Swastika’s account, you need to submit a DIS (Delivery Instruction Slip). It will help in moving shares from one DEMAT to another.

The steps are as following-
  1. You need to fill up the DIS slip of the DP (Depository Participant) mentioning details of the securities, transferred demat a/c details, etc.

  2. Submit their DIS slip along with the  copy of CMR(Client Master report) of Swastika.

  3. The CMR contains information such as name, address, DOB, bank account, nominations etc.

  4. The process takes between 2-4 days.
