If I do not operate for a few months, will I still be charged account maintenance?

Even if there are no transactions executed in your account, you will be charged with the Account Maintenance Charges but if your Basic Service Demat Account value does not exceed Rs. 50,000 a year then you will not be charged AMC. This facility, however, can only be availed with one broker at a time. So if you are already availing this facility with some other broker and you have a demat account at Swastika, then will have to charge an AMC.
