If I do not operate for a few months, will I still be charged account maintenance?

Even if there are no transactions executed in your account, you will still incur Account Maintenance Charges (AMC). However, if the value of your Basic Service Demat Account does not exceed Rs. 50,000 in a year, you will not be charged an AMC. This facility can only be availed with one broker at a time. Therefore, if you are already utilizing this facility with another broker and have a Demat account with Swastika, you will be charged an AMC.
